Main Steps
Once you have done that, go to the group or page you wish to close, and on the right-hand side of the Facebook home page, click "IDs".
Under the groups you manage tab, click on the desired group you wish to delete.
Underneath the individual name of the group, click the persons link. On the following page, you will notice a drop down menu, which says "Search for people".
Click on it, and a new window will open up, from which you can perform a search for the individual's full profile information.
Remove from your Facebook account
Once you have located the individual's name you wish to remove from your Facebook account, click on "Have a civil discussion" next to his or her name.
This is a link you can click on to begin a public dialog between you and the person, in order to decide whether or not it would be in his or her best interest to be removed from the group and/or page.
After you click this link, a message will appear on your Facebook wall stating that you have decided to remove him or her from your friend list.
The same message will appear if you were the one who requested the removal of the person, and if you have gone through the steps to request the deletion of another person's profile.
Leave on the chat window
You will notice that when you click to leave on the chat window, a message will appear asking you if you are ready to join the group. Click on "Yes" to continue.
On the bottom of the page, you will see a link that says "Find friends", and from there you will be able to click on it to start searching for other Facebook groups where the person you are looking for is involved.
Search or create for a group
If your search for a group involves an individual you know, the easiest way on how to delete a group on Facebook is to find the group and click "Create".
A list of people will show up, and you will notice that each person's picture is listed. You will also notice a drop down menu that says "Find friends", which is where you will click to bring up the list of all the other members of that group.
Click on each individual person's name to read their information, and if you wish to remove them from the group completely, you can click on the Remove Members button.

Once you have all of the information on each member of the group, you will want to click on "Remove" next to each name on the list. To do this, you will need to click on "Remove As", and browse through the choices to find the person you are looking for in the group.
Click on "Remove", and a message will appear stating that you are now removing that person from the group. When you are finished, a note will appear stating that the person is no longer a part of that group.
